How does doty work?
You take a pointer, prime with ink from the well in the centre of the doty base and stick the pointer to the wall art fixing.
You position the item on the wall where desired and press! Remove the wall art and if the steps have been followed correctly and you’ve pressed hard enough, there will be a mark on the wall in the perfect position to screw or tap your fixing into!
What fixings will doty® work with?
doty can literally be used on ANY style wall fixing, from D rings, string, serrated profiles, keyholes or two fixings. Just remember that the doty pointer needs to be positioned where the wall fixing needs to align and then style or type of wall art fixing is irrelevant.
You could even attach it to the end of a pole or underside of a bathtub if you needed to mark a position for a fixing or fastening.
Just remeber, the doty pointer replaces the position of where you want the screw/nail or fixing to be positioned and once you get the hang of it you cant go wrong!
How do the doty® pointers stick to things?
The underside of the pointers are fitted with ‘tacky-tape’ a revolutionary gel style tape that has a repeatable usability. It will however lose its ‘tackyness’ after some use, but here is the AMAZING thing. If you run the tape under hot water and wash with soap they return to there ‘like-new’ stickyness again and again!!
However, there are a few spares in the package when you buy a doty just to give you piece of mind.
